Environmental Sanitation Department

Recently the requirements for keeping a clean environment
have been increasing and environmental problems
are becoming more serious. We are making an effort
to restore a clean and beautiful environment, especially
now that we are in charge of the sanitation program
for Oryukdo, which is a symbol of Busan. We are
planning to improve the quality of our food and
general sanitation. We always want to provide you

District Economy Department

Our main concerns are stabilizing local prices,
protecting consumers and traditional markets, managing
the circulation of natural gas, gasoline and other
products, supporting small industry, and supervising

Traffic Administration Department
The purpose
of the Traffic Administration Department is to improve
traffic conditions in Nan-gu. We are going to do
our best to provide fair traffic administrative
services and to provide reputable service from all
traffic officials.
Disaster Security Department
Disaster Security Department adjusts, executes preventing, correspondence, and restoration about our district disaster. Our department consists of 3 parts: disaster management, restoration surport, and civil defence. Our department adjusts and manage to establish security management system that protect our inhabitents from all sorts of disaster, and minimize damages at disaster outbreaking.
Also we are organizing local civil defence for activating life civil defence
City Management Department

main services are maintaining the roads, streetlights
and sewage system, and managing all advertising
material. We are doing our best to make the city

Construction Department
The main
concerns of the Construction Department are making
a long-term developing plan for Nam-gu, decision-making
regarding potential city facilities as well as construction
and management of present ones. By providing these
services, we promote the satisfaction and comfort

Planning and Inspection Division
The Planning
and Inspection Division performs general planning
and management, and consists of 4 parts: planning,
financing, judicial affairs and inspections.
We work to live up to our motto <Clean Nam-ge,
Comfortable Nan-gu> and make Nam-gu a center
of Busan. We care for general planning, making a
budget for a year, managing personnel and doing
extensive research. We also make new policies and
correct any errors for your benefit.
Finance Department

We are working to develop the city and promise that
all of our workers will do their best to make Nam-gu

We manage public and national facilities in our
ward. To meet our changing needs, we are planning
