The Haeparang Trail Tourist Information Center is located at the starting point of Korea's longest trail which runs 770.9km from Oryukdo Island in Nam-gu to the Unification Observatory in Goseong-gun, Gangwon-do. The trail includes beach paths, forest paths, village paths, and coastal roads along the east coast. The center opened on February 1, 2013, and provides tourist information about Nam-gu. This includes tourist maps and various promotional material prepared by local government. The tourist information services are available in English, Japanese, and Chinese.
